Objectives

Our Mobile & Adhoc Sensor Networks Group (MASNL) Works for a Sustainable Future on Pervasive Computing Technologies in Wireless and Adhoc Sensor Network application fields,
Offers opportunities for businesses to establish close working relationships with the VEC - TIFAC-CORE to meet the industrial needs in the fields of Automotive, Medical, Defence, Education, Environmental disaster warning & mitigation, Human safety and nurtures entrepreneurs with new inventions & developments.

Supports the TIFAC-CORE- VEC by fostering high quality Research & Development, sharing funding information, enhancing the ability to respond to opportunities and encouraging inquiry into new and emerging fields.

To develop Ubiquitous  Sensor Networks with computing intelligence involving self calibration, self diagnostics  to allow ‘plug & play’ devices for efficient and effective distributed control.

To create the testing and measurement facilities for Pervasive Intelligent Sensor Network pilot projects.

To design and deploy Devices and Sensor technologies coupled with available and emerging communications infrastructure integrated with a range of software which enable an entire new class of systems with breakthrough results in numerous market applications.

Ultimately, from the Pervasive Smart Sensor Networks Technologies, emerging from our research  laboratories, the ability  to instrument the world is likely to transform every facet of our lives with new hardware designs, software applications and network architectures .
